The return of HMV continues, with the re-opening of its store in Newry, Co Down on Friday October 25.
The store will be located in the old HMV premises at the Quays Shopping Centre in the town.
The Newry store follows the re-opening of branches at Henry Street, Dundrum Town Centre and Liffey Valley in Dublin and at the Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick.
Larry Howard, CEO of HMV owners Hilco Capital Ireland, said: “The public reaction to the return of HMV to Ireland has been overwhelming, and we’re delighted to be expanding our presence in the Irish market with the opening of the Newry store.”
The opening of the store in Newry will create 20 jobs.
