Harrison Ford has said that he has had talks with Ridley Scott about returning to the world of Blade Runner.

Speaking to IGN, Ford said that he and Scott have discussed a proposed sequel to their 1983 sci-fi film.

It has been reported that Green Lantern writer Michael Green is working on a Blade Runner 2 script after a first draft from the original writer, Hampton Fancher.

Ford said of the 1983 shoot "I remember it with complication, but I'm not there to generate nostalgic moments, I'm there to do a job of work."

"I quite understand that everybody has an ambition when they come and do a film, and everyone's ambition may not be focused on the same thing. I truly admire Ridley as a man and as a director, and I would be very happy to engage with him again in the further telling of this story."

Blade Runner was based on the Philip K Dick novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Ford will next be seen in Ender’s Game which is released at the end of the month.
