Lizzy Caplan has been cast as the female lead in The Interview.
Seth Rogen will direct and produce the film with his long time collaborator Evan Goldberg.
The plot is classic Rogen-Goldberg-Franco comedy with James Franco set to play a handsome talk-show host in the film and Rogen starring as his producer. Somehow the pair find themselves involved in a plot to assassinate the North Korean prime minister.
Caplan will play a CIA agent who encourages them to go ahead with the assassination.
The Interview is Rogen’s directorial follow-up to his debut with This Is The End.
