Billy Connolly has said he has been given the all-clear from prostate cancer.
In an interview with Sky Sports News ahead of Celtic's match against Barcelona, Connolly said: "I got the clearance on Wednesday on my cancer so I'm okay."
Last month Connolly's spokesperson said he had been diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer and had undergone minor surgery.
The spokesperson also said that the comic and actor
"has been assessed as having the initial symptoms of Parkinson's disease, for which he is receiving the appropriate treatment" but will continue to work.
