Former cast member Paget Brewster is to reprise her role as Emily Prentiss for the upcoming 200th episode of procedural drama Criminal Minds.

Deadline.com reports that the show's executive producer, Erica Messer, said: "Our 200th episode is going to be a special show. We can't imagine telling this story without Paget being present."
The 200th episode will focus on what happened to JJ Jareau (AJ Cook) during her time away from the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) and will tie in to a present day BAU case.
Brewster left Criminal Minds in 2012 after six years.
