Sylvester Stallone's next movie, Reach Me, will be released into theatres after the film made more that its $250,000 target on Kickstarter.com

Director John Herzfeld set up the campaign on the crowdsourcing site last month (Aug 20) with a deadline date of September 19, but more than enough money has already been raised to secure Reach Me's theatre release.

To date, the Kickstarter page had pulled in $264,339 (£176,225) with almost two weeks left for people to donate.

67-year-old Stallone stars as a retired sports coach who writes a self-help book, and the cast also boasts Kelsey Grammer, Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Connolly, Tom Sizemore, and rapper Nelly.
