Mel B has hinted that she may record a duet with Geri Halliwell.

Speaking with the Metro the former Spice Girl said: "I just recorded three hot, hot new singles. It’s been great to be recording again. I’ve been recording on and off all year – the same as Geri."

"I don’t know if we will collaborate but we’re having dinner on Saturday so we are going to be talking about that."

Mel B has previously released two solo albums and has had a string of top 40 hits including her 1998 number one I Want You Back featuring Missy Elliot.

Most recently the 38-year-old has taken up a seat on the judging panel for new ITV dance show Stepping Out and has also recently replaced Sharon Osbourne on America’s Got Talent.

According to the star her ex-band mates are very supportive of each other’s new projects.

She explained: "What I love about all of us lot is that we all support each other. We have true, proper 20-years of friendship."

She added: “it’s really nice that everybody is doing so well.”
