U2 bassist Adam Clayton married his Brazilian girlfriend in Dublin this morning according to reports.

The rocker wed Mariana Teixeira in a low-key civil ceremony at 11am at a Dublin registry office.

Clayton’s bandmate The Edge and his wife Morleigh Steinberg were said to be in attendance. However, there was no sign of Bono or drummer Larry Mullen.

The couple, who have been dating for four years, got engaged earlier this year in Brazil.

53-year-old Clayton was previously engaged to supermodel Naomi Campbell in 1994 and to Suzie Smith, a former assistant to U2’s manager, Paul McGuinness, in 2006.
