Jodi Foster has signed on to direct an episode of Netflix's political drama House of Cards.
The Oscar-winning actress will be involved in the second run of the acclaimed series which is set on Captiol Hill and stars Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright and Kate Mara.
Spacey previously confirmed that he is in talks to direct an episode of season two, while the show's executive producer David Fincher will not be available to direct any new episodes due to his big screen adaptation of Gone Girl.
Foster previously directed episode three of Netflix's Orange is the New Black, which stars Taylor Schilling and Jason Biggs.
House of Cards has been nominated for nine Emmy Awards, including Best Drama, Best Actor and Best Actress.
Season two of the series is expected to arrive on Netflix in early 2014.
