Kurt Russell is reportedly in negotiations to join the cast of the next Fast & Furious sequel.
The 62-year-old veteran actor has been linked to a role in the upcoming seventh outing of the car racing films, according to Variety.
Although no details about Kurt's apparent part in the movie have been revealed, it's believed that his role was initially offered to Flight star Denzel Washington.
The Expendables 3 star Jason Statham will also be joining the cast regulars, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, in the upcoming flick after featuring briefly in the closing scenes of Fast & Furious 6.
Fast & Furious 7, which will be directed by original Saw filmmaker James Wan, hits cinemas on July 25, 2014.
