The Only Way is Essex star Lucy Mecklenburgh has denied reports that she was in a relationship with The Wanted's Max George, insisting that they were never exclusively together.
The 21-year-old fashion designer has revealed she was never in an official relationship with the singer and insists there are ''no hard feelings'' between them.
Speaking to the new issue of OK! magazine, Lucy said: ''He's single and I'm single - we're not an item. He can do what he wants, so I feel bad that he's getting bad press for cheating on me when we're not together. There are no hard feelings.
''Me and him have never been official. We met up a few times, we had a laugh and we've been in contact. We're both single and that's the way we wanted to keep it.''
Lucy further explained that she knew nothing was going to become of the brief romance, adding: ''We never got to be at the relationship stage. We just got on and went out a few times.
''It was just quite friendly and flirty. We met up a few times. We liked each other, but we're both really busy. He's in a different country most of the time. I think we both knew there was never going to be anything that came out of it. It was very innocent.''
