Despite reports to the contrary, Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass will not be returning to film another Bourne instalment.
Following Twitchfilm news that both men were returning for a new instalment, Variety spoke to sources in Universal who denied the reports.
Damon previously expressed an interest in returning in late 2011: "I think if [Bourne Legacy] doesn't work, we can just ignore it and pretend it didn't happen, and that'd be fine.
"But I expect that it will work and only help us if we did another one, which I'd love to do."
