Stereophonics singer Kelly Jones has said "I bottled coaching role on The Voice."
Jones told MTV, "I had a couple of chats with some people and once they asked me back for the third chat I realised they were serious and I bottled it."
Another reason for pulling out of the running for the role was due to band commitments, "It took between January and June of our year away and I don't think I'd be that comfortable judging other people."
His spot on the judging panel was actually given to The Script's Danny O'Donoghue who has since quit the show.
