The Shawshank Redemption is returning to Dublin's Gaiety Theatre next month, in a production starring comedian Omid Djalili and Homicide: Life on the Street's Kyle Secor.
Following its acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe run, the adaptation of the Stephen King novella will run for five performances at the Gaiety from Friday September 6 to Sunday September 8, with Djalili playing Red and Secor playing Andy.
Tickets, priced from €24.50, will go on sale this Friday, August 23, from usual outlets.
The cast of the production also includes Terry Alderton, Steve McNicoll, Jack Monaghan, Vincenzo Nicole, Joe Rooney and Ian Lavender.
