Hugh Jackman has denied reports that he has signed a $100 million deal for future Wolverine instalments.
The A-lister was recently rumoured to have been offered a contract to play the X-men character in four more movies.
Jackman denied the claim in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
He explained: "No it's not true. I would never do that. I've never done that mainly because, for the fans and for me, each time I've gone around there's been a really good reason to do it and I don't know what that reason is from here."
Jackman added: "I'm in the middle of making this and I just promoted the other and I'm really happy with the way The Wolverine came out."
Jackman will star in the sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past which is scheduled to be released on May 23, 2014.
