Liza Minnelli is seeking out a role in the hit TV show Boardwalk Empire.
The 67-year-old actress is keen to join the cast of the period drama after she recorded a song for show's soundtrack.
Speaking about her desire to play, even a small role, on the prohibition-era programme Minnelli told the New York Daily News: "I was so thrilled to be asked to work on this project for an amazing show, with such wonderful people involved.
"Now I can only hope they would ask me to be on the show."
Boardwalk Empire, which stars Steve Buscemi, is executive produced by Martin Scorsese and Mark Wahlberg and will return to our screens later this year.
