Hugh Grant has been cast in Man From U.N.C.L.E..

The Love Actually star joins previously-cast Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) and Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger) in the spy film from Guy Richie.

This big-screen adaptation of the classic 1960s TV series will see Grant take of the role of the head of British naval intelligence, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film follows special agents Napoleon Solo (Cavill) and Illya Kuryakin (Hammer), who work for the mysterious United Network Command for Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.).

Actress Alicia Vikander takes the female lead in the movie, while Elixabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby) will also star in the adaptation.

Director Richie co-wrote the script with Lionel Wigram.

Production is slated to begin in September with a scheduled 2014 release.
