Harrison Ford has been cast in The Expendables 3, while the movie's original star Bruce Willis will not be returning.
Sylvester Stallone, who co-created the action franchise, tweeted the news on Tuesday (August 7th): "WILLIS OUT... HARRISON FORD IN !!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!"
Stallone, who directed and starred in the first Expendables outing, also appeared to take a swpie at Willis on Twitter, writing: "GREEDY AND LAZY ... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE".
The third instalment of the series will be directed by Patrick Hughes and will see Stallone return as Barney Ross, leading a group of mercenaries on seemingly impossible missions.
The all-star cast includes Jackie Chan, Nicholas Cage, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke.
The Expendables 3 is scheduled to be released on August 15th, 2014.
