Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch has signed up to voice a new character in The Penguins of Madagascar movie.
The 37-year-old actor will voice a high-ranking animal CIA agent, according to The Wrap.
Red 2 star John Malkovich has also been snapped up by DreamWorks Animation to voice the film's villain.
Simon J Smith is directing the movie, from a script penned by Michael Colton and John Aboud.
The Penguins of Madagascar is scheduled for release on March 27, 2015.
