Len Wiseman will no longer direct The Mummy reboot.

The Total Recall director has been forced to leave the project due to a scheduling conflict.

According to The Wrap producers Sean Daniels, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are searching for a new director and will continue to move forward without Wiseman.

The original Mummy trilogy, which starred Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weiz (for the first two films) grossed over $1.25 billon.

Jon Spaihts, who most recently wrote Prometheus, is said to be working on a darker take on the horror franchise.
