Severed legs, dental hygiene, Esperanto, time travel and underpants . . . Villagers don't hold back on the pyschodrama of a video for their new single Earthly Pleasures. Watch it here.

The song will be available for download on August 23rd and is the latest lifted from their critically-acclaimed second album, {Awayland} which was released last January.

The video was directed by filmakers Smith & Werber. Earlier this month Villagers' vocalist Conor O’Brien was invited to appear at Beck’s Song Reader Live at The Barbican in London, alongside Jarvis, Franz Ferdinand, and Charlotte Gainsbourg, where he performed his own version of Beck's Old Shanghai. O'Brien also performed a duet with the LA singer on Do We, We Do.

Villagers have a number of UK festivals lined up and they also play
Greyabbey Harvest Festival in County Down on August 31st and Sligo Live on October 27th.
