Former EastEnders actress Michelle Ryan, Helen Baxendale and one time Doctor Who Peter Davison are all set for guest starring roles in the BBC’s hit drama, Death in Paradise.
Filming is underway for the third series of the Caribbean drama on the island of Guadeloupe which also sees Lightfields and My Family star Kris Marshall join the regular cast.
Speaking about joining the show, Jekyll star Ryan said “It’s very exciting to be a part of this excellent series. I play an actress who is quite a handful with a dark past.
"The action element is always appealing for me and getting to film on the gorgeous Island of Guadeloupe was incredible. We had so much fun!”
The show which has seen the departure of Ben Miller as DI Richard Poole has enjoyed huge success for the BBC, reaching an audience of up to 8 million people in the UK earlier this year.
