Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel has said that "big news" about his attachment to the Marvel franchise will be unveiled later this month.
The 46-year-old actor was believed to have booked a mysterious meeting with Marvel Studio bosses last month and has since hinted that he will be starring in Josh Whedon's The Avengers 2.
Speaking at Comic-Con, Diesel said: "He asked the one question I'm not supposed to say anything on!" Diesel joked. "What I will say is, there is some very big news coming at the end of this month."
The Avengers 2 will begin filming in London in early 2014.
