Bling Ring victim Orlando Bloom has revealed that he turned down the chance to make a cameo appearance in Sofia Coppola's new movie because he felt it was "too close to home."
Speaking to Hello! magazine, the 36-year-old actor said: "Sofia Coppola is wonderful and I'd love to work with her. She asked me to cameo in the movie but I said it was too close to home for me to want to be involved."
Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Rachel Bilson also were also targeted in the thieving spree.
Bloom recently said that he was worried about reprising his role as Legolas from Lord of the Rings in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
