Cathal Murray is sitting in for Ronan Collins on RTÉ Radio 1 Monday - Friday, 12 - 1pm.
The Athlone native, who presents the Weekend on One Show on Saturday and Sunday morning from 6 - 8am, will now fill in for Ronan Collins for the next three weeks.
Murray told RTÉ TEN: "While I love soundtracking early weekend mornings on RTÉ Radio 1 it's always a thrill to get the opportunity to sit in Ronan's seat. It's my fourth year doing it!
"Listeners can expect the usual mix of their choices and old favourites while I also plan to dust off a few gems, old and new which don't normally get played on daytime radio.
