It has been announced that Irish actor Liam Neeson is one of a number of celebrities who will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.
Neeson is to be honoured alongside Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Claire Danes, Jeff Lynne and Rick Springfield
There will also be two special stars awarded posthumously to Tupac Shakur and comedian Phil Hartman.
David Green, chairman of the Walk of Fame selection committee, says, "We have a great mix of celebrities and industry executives who have made Hollywood what it is today - one of the greatest entertainment destinations in the world".
"The new selections will bring great joy and fond memories for those millions who visit Hollywood each year!"
