Star Wars creator George Lucas has revealed that he has yet to discuss Episode 7 of the franchise with new director J.J. Abrams.
Speaking to Access Hollywood Lucas said "I have not spoken to J.J. He's been busy with Star Trek, and I'm sure that he'll let me know when he's got some questions.
"So, you know, that's all going well. [Kathleen Kennedy] tells me it's working out great."
The seventh instalment is being written by Michael Arndt and is set to go into production early next year with shooting set to take place in England. The film is scheduled to be released in 2015.
Abrams' latest film, Star Trek Into Darkness opened last month.
