Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp and Chris Pine will star in a Disney film version of Broadway musical Into the Woods and Tracey Ullman is in talks to join them.
The Hollywood Reporter has said that the comedian may join the all-star cast as Jack the Giant Killer's mother in the film which will be directed by Chicago's Rob Marshall.
The story follows a baker and his wife (Emily Blunt) who confront a witch (Streep) who has cursed their family.
En route they come face-to-face with a number of fairytale characters including Rapunzel, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf (Depp).
The film, which will co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, is due to start filming this autumn.
This would be Ullman's first film outing since the 2007 comedy I Could Never Be Your Woman in which she starred alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd.
