Transformers director Michael Bay will direct a big screen adaptation of the video game Ghost Recon.
According to Variety this will see the director team up with Warner Bros for the first time and casting will begin next month.
The game sees trained soldiers in the US Army Special Forces tackle enemies around the world.
Speaking about the game and its soldiers, the CEO of Ubisoft Motion Pictures Jean Julien Baronnet said: "These guys don't belong to any specific organisation
"They're in the field where the US troops are not supposed to be. It's a small team with very strong personalities and very specific skill sets. They're using weapons nobody knows about, but it's very grounded. It's not sci-fi."
Bay is currently busy working on Transformers 4 for Paramount and here's an update on it.
