Russell Crowe got a bit of a shock when he realised that his role in Man of Steel meant wearing spandex...a lot!
Crowe, who plays Superman's dad Jor-El in the film, told Extra: "I didn't realise I was getting the spandex as well, which was a bit of a holy s*** moment."
He added that wearing spandex ensured that he stayed in shape throughout filming, although he said: "I really enjoyed wearing it.
"There's something kind of cool about that four layers of spandex that just made you feel really powerful and you couldn't walk anywhere without people just going 'hmmmm'!"
Man of Steel opens this Friday, June 14.
