The Irish Film Institute has announced that it will screen four classic films next month in large format prints as part of its 70mm: The Big Picture programme.
The season opens with David Lean's Ryan's Daughter on Tuesday June 4 at 6:30pm, with another screening on Sunday June 16 at 2:30pm.
Ridley Scott's Alien will screen on Tuesday June 11 at 6:30pm and Sunday June 16 at 6:30pm.
John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China will screen on Tuesday June 18 at 6:30pm and Saturday June 22 at 4:10pm.
Michael Cimino's The Deer Hunter will be shown on Wednesday June 26 at 7:30pm and Saturday June 29 at 3:10pm.
