Forbidden Fruit Festival, which is taking place this weekend in Dublin, with headliners Primal Scream and Kasabian, have just announced a new addition.

Comedian Andrew Stanley was on site today and he spoke to RTÉ TEN: "I was in the site showing off the new layout, it's so compact and so nice, with everything in the one area and there's good vides, a relaxed attitude towards it. It's a good addition to the summer music line-up.

"The big announcement was the new Forbidden Fruit Night which is happening after the festival. It's a big event happening around the Temple Bar area in Meeting House Square, the IFI and the Button Factory.

"It's for the first couple of thousand people who come down after the festival, they get free in and there's loads of events happening over a four-hour period on Sunday night."

He added: "There's a screening of the Talking Heads film on in the IFI with a Q&A beforehand with a secret special guest which hasn't been announced yet. There are couple of DJ's coming over to play in the Button Factory who aren't actually playing as part of the festival so that will be the only place to see them."

Stanley will be busy on stage at the main event on Saturday, June 1: "I'm opening the comedy tent this year so I'll be there from 4.10pm to 4.30pm. I'll be praying for rain so everybody has to go inside and come and watch me in the tent."
