EastEnders star Gary Lucy has dropped more hints about his character Danny Pennant’s future on The Square.
Show bosses recently revealed that Danny is set to reprise his role on the popular show as a regular.
The 31-year-old actor, who was previously involved in a love triangle plot surrounding Christian Clarke and Syed Masood, has said that he is thrilled that he will be making a return to Eastenders.
He said: "When I left last year, nothing was confirmed regarding a return. It had been talked about, so I was really hoping it would happen. Personally, I thought there was still loads to explore with Danny's character, and it would have been a shame if we hadn't been able to - so now I'm quite looking forward to that.
Digital Spy further quote Gary as saying: "Everything I've done so far has been really interesting, and based on the discussions we've had, I reckon we're in for good stuff!"
Viewers will see Danny making his full-time return to The Square from July.
