Belinda McKeon's Solace is the Book on One this week. The Longforad author's award-winning debut novel tells the story of Mark Casey, a doctoral student at Trinity College. Mark is struggling with the demands of writing his thesis and helping out on the family farm at home in the midlands. His is a life without focus until he meets a young woman at a party.
