Coronation Street fans have been told there may be a happy ending at last for two of Weatherfield's most unlucky-in-love residents.

The Daily Mail reports that actors Chris Gascoyne (Peter) and Alison King (Carla) filmed scenes outside a jewellery store on Monday.
Photographs showed King kissing her co-star while looking at rings in the shop window.
