The BBC has announced that Irish actress Elaine Cassidy will reprise her role as Katherine in BBC One's department store period drama series The Paradise.
Cassidy will be joined once again by Joanna Vanderham (Denise) and Emun Elliot (Moray), with their three characters "locked in a love triangle [and] battling for control of The Paradise".
Ben Daniels will play Cassidy's new on-screen husband Tom, "an enigmatic former soldier".
Filming has commenced on the second series of The Paradise, which is based on the Emile Zola novel The Ladies' Paradise.
