Netflix boss Ted Sarandos has admitted that he would "love" to make more Arrested Development.

He told The Hollywood Reporter that more episodes and the long-rumoured movie could follow the 15 new episodes released on Netflix this Sunday (May 26).

"We would love to do more, and we have a deal in place that says that there could be," Sarandos confirmed.

"The problem is logistics. [The show's cast] were all working full-time and doing this show in between, and they did it for the love of the show and for [series creator] Mitch Hurwitz. If we can muster up that love again, we'd love to do it again."

Sarandos added that he and Hurwitz have "talked openly about a movie scenario, too".

Arrested Development star Jeffrey Tambor (George Sr) recently said that it would be "an incredibly bad business decision" not to make a movie spin-off.

"I think you'd have to be a silly, silly person not to do us as a movie," said Tambor. "But I think that's to be seen."
