Erin Wasson has joined Rihanna's Styled to Rock show.

The American model and actress joins previously announced Pharrell Williams as a mentor on the Style Network fashion competition series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rihanna is an executive producer on the show, which gives 12 up-and-coming designers the chance to create unique fashion pieces for a variety of celebrities.

The celebrity guest of the week will decide which designer best achieves their vision and advances to the next round.

President of Style Media Salaam Coleman Smith said: “We could not have asked for a better addition to our team. As a leading model and mainstay in the fashion industry, Erin’s unapologetic approach to fashion and free-spirited style will give the Styled to Rock designers invaluable insight

“With Rihanna as executive producer and Pharrell and Erin as mentors, our designers will gain incredible experience while also being challenged in new ways as they compete to earn the title of America’s next trendsetting designer.”

The 10-episode series is based on the UK Sky Living original which saw Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, fashion designer Henry Holland and American celebrity stylist Lysa Cooper mentor the contestants.

Texan-born Wasson has appeared as a guest judge on American's Next Top Model and Project Runway in 2011.
