Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has said that she misses her close friends David and Victoria Beckham now that they have moved home to London.

The 38-year-old star has said that it's a shame the couple have to leave LA, but Eva insists she will visit them in London.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Longoria said: ''I think David and Victoria are an amazing couple who have an amazing reach around the world. It's great that they use it to benefit those in need and what he has done with UNICEF is really incredible.

''I've missed them not being in LA, very much so. But I'm so busy I haven't got any plans to go over and see them in London just yet.''

David, who announced his retirement from professional soccer last week, missed out on collecting the Global Gift Philanthropist Award at Eva's Global Gift Gala last Monday. However, as a symbol of his close friendship with the A Dark Truth star David donated a pair of his football boots to the charity event.

Speaking in a recorded message show on the night, David said: ''I was much looking forward to being there, but with winning the championship I'll be parading the trophy around Paris ... I apologise to Eva, she is a very special friend to me and my wife and I know the very special work she does for many charities.''

Eva Longoria recently made fun of her wardrobe malfunction at Cannes on Twitter, by posting a picture of herself in a black dress with the caption: “Here’s my dress for tonight. “No wardrobe malfunctions tonight!!!”
