RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta Cormac ag a Cúig won two awards at the annual Irish-language Oscars last nights.
Cormac ag a Cúig won best radio programme, and programme presenter Cormac Ó hEadhra also took home the prize for Radio Presenter of the Year.
The Oireachtais awards took place in the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill and were hosted by Aengus Mac Grianna from RTÉ News.
The programme which was launched last September, is a drivetime magazine programme, concentrating on current affairs and is on-air weekdays at 5pm.
Speaking about the awards, Head of RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta Edel Ní Chuireáin, said: “Congratulations to Cormac and the programme team, on these two well-deserved awards.
“Although the programme only came on air last autumn, it has already made an impact, and I’m confident that it will go from strength to strength.
“Cormac Ó hEadhra is a key element of the programme’s success. He is a naturally-gifted broadcaster, and can be counted among the best in the country working in English or Irish."
