Rihanna has spoken about her forthcoming high summer line for River Island in a video released by the high street store.
The behind-the-scenes clip shows the popstar at a model fitting as she explains what inspired her second line for River Island.
Rihanna said: "I just wanted stuff that I wanted to wear because at the end of the day that's what got me into designing - seeing things on the rack that were great, but that could have been a little more me.
"Maybe they could have been a little longer or shorter, or have a little more sex appeal or a little less.
I wanted to make clothes for fat days; stuff that I want to wear. I was being selfish. Hopefully, my friends and people who shop at River Island will have the same taste."
The singer and her co-designer Adam Selman discuss her latest collection, perusing rails of tie-dye jumpsuits, slinky crop tops, simple dresses in pink and black and an oversized khaki jacket. Rihanna's high summer 2013 line will hit stores on May 25.
