Ireland's Dolan qualifies for Eurovision final

Ireland's Ryan Dolan last night qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday. Check out all the pictures from last night!

The County Tyrone native finished in the top ten in the semi-final in Malmo in Sweden with his self-composed song Only Love Survives.

Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus, Denmark, Russia, Belgium, Ukraine and The Netherlands also qualified with the top ten being announced in no particular order.

Speaking after qualification, Ryan Dolan said: "I’m absolutely thrilled to be through to the final on Saturday night. I have such an amazing team behind me.

"Leanne, Alison, Nicky, Colm and Alan are all brilliant to work with and they did Ireland proud on stage tonight. A big shout out to my mentor Stuart O’ Connor as well for all the support and believing in me. It was such a buzz being on stage tonight performing to 15,000 in the arena and 125 million viewers around the world."

"It was nerve wrecking sitting in the Green Room area waiting for the results. When they called Ireland and my name I was so excited and relieved all in one go– it was such a rush. We’re really looking forward to celebrating with all the crew tonight.”
