The Project Arts Centre in Dublin are celebrating their Community Day with a live broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1's arts and culture show, Arena.

Speaking to RTÉ TEN about tonight's show, presenter and Arena reporter Evelyn O'Rourke, said: "We are delighted to be part of this wonderful idea to show what really happens behind the closed doors at the Project Arts Centre on its community day.

"We will be introducing our listeners to some of the artists and musicians who have made the Project such an interesting arts space down through the years! And, as if that's not enough, there is even a rumour that cake will be served at the Project too!"

The programme will feature music from The New Triangle and Crash Ensemble plus interviews with writer and director Peter Sheridan, artist Niamh O'Malley and writer (and THISISPOPBABY co-founder) Philip McMahon.

Tune into Arena with Séan Rocks, weekdays 7 to 8pm on Radio 1 via the RTÉ Radio Player here or on the Radio Player App on your mobile device.

The event will kick off at 7pm and admission is free but places are limited and you can click here for further information.
