Film studio Universal has announced that Jurassic Park 4 has been delayed indefinitely, so director Colin Trevorrow and his team can devote more time to the blockbuster.
The fourth instalment in the dinosaur adventure series had been due for release in June 2014, but Universal has now confirmed the movie has been pushed back to allow the crew more time to make the ''best possible'' film.
In a statement, Universal said: "Universal has decided to release Jurassic Park 4 at a later date, giving the studio and filmmakers adequate time to bring audiences the best possible version of the fourth instalment in Universal's beloved franchise.
"We could not be more excited about the vision that Colin Trevorrow has created for this film, and we look forward to watching as he and the producers create another great chapter in this franchise's storied history.''
