Star of Disney's Good Luck Charlie TV series Bridgit Mendler was in 2fm to talk to Rick O'Shea about her new album yesterday.
Most Irish children, and many of their parents, will know her from her Disney TV appearances but for those who don't, Mendler introduced herself.
Speaking on Rick O'Shea in the Afternoon, she said: "I work on Good Luck Charlie and a few other Disney shows like Waverly Place and Jonas and now I'm over here in Ireland, in Dublin promoting my first album ever Hello My Name Is and my single Ready Or Not."
Flying in from Germany on a worldwide tour to promote the new single the 21-year-old singer spoke to O'Shea about the release before performing live in studio.
The singer and actress is well-known stateside having appeared in the Disney shows she mentioned above a number and she has also appeared in House and General Hospital.
The Washington native, who released her debut solo album Hello My Name Is, last year, is very popular on Twitter (@bridgitmendler) with almost one and a half million followers.
