E! star Khloe Kardashian will not return to The X Factor.
The 28-year-old star has failed to secure a contract for the third series of the upcoming reality singing competition.
An official statement released by producers read: "Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to co-host The X Factor. We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in the future."
Meanwhile, Khloe's co-star Mario Lopez has been confirmed to return for the new series.
Speaking about reprising his presenting duties he said: "I’m looking forward to returning to The X Factor team. We’re coming back stronger and better than ever and I'm excited to check out all the new talent."
Simon and Demi will return to the judge's table while announcements for Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, who quit after season two, have not yet been announced.
