Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Will Ferrell, Emma Watson and Jamie Foxx are just some of the winners announced at last night's 2013 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.
The MTV Movie Awards were back with a bang last night (April 14). The annual ceremony, known for its controversial humor and golden popcorn trophies, was hosted by Pitch Perfect actress Rebel Wilson.
Superheroes and villains took centre stage with The Avengers scooping three gongs – including the coveted Movie of The Year Award - to be the big winner on the night.
Rebel Wilson entertained the celeb-packed crowd with an energetic dance routine
Bradley Cooper and Wilson were double winners. Cooper won the Best Male Performance award for Silver Linings Playbook and he also accepted Best Kiss honors for his smooch with co-star Jennifer Lawrence in that film.
Wilson, who opened and closed the show wearing Iron Man-style armor, won breakthrough performance for her work in Pitch Perfect and shared in the film's award for best musical moment. Its stars, including Brittany Snow and Skylar Astin, opened the show with a mash-up medley.
Selena Gomez debuted her new single Come and Get It
Selena Gomez also performed on the night debuting her new song, Come and Get It, with a Bollywood-inspired performance.
Emma Watson, the star of this summer's The Bling Ring, received the Trailblazer Award. Will Ferrell wore a three-piece suit covered in dollar bills to accept the Comedic Genius Award. And Jamie Foxx was honored with the Generation Award for his career in film.
