Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley have been cast in the new psychological thriller Eliza Graves.
They will star alongside Kate Beckinsale and Jim Sturgess in the film, which will be directed by Brad Anderson (The Machinist), Deadline reports.
Eliza Graves is loosely based on the Edgar Allan Poe short story The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether.
In the film, Sturgess plays a Harvard Medical School graduate who arrives in a new job at a mental institution, not realising that the inmates have taken over and are posing as doctors. He meets and falls in love with a beautiful patient (Beckinsale) at the asylum.
Caine will next be seen in Now You See Me while Kingsley stars in the upcoming Iron Man 3.
