It has been reported that Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding was arrested last Thursday for using her mobile phone while driving and failing to stop for police.
According to the Sunday Mirror the pop star was spotted making a phone call while driving in central London last week. She allegedly refused to pull over for the police when they flagged her down.
She was stopped minutes later, and after a lengthy chat on the side of the road, she was arrested and brought to a nearby police station.
The police have confirmed that Harding was charged with two offences and will have to appear in court on April 16.
She faces a maximum £1,000 fine and losing her licence for using her phone, while failing to stop for police carries a £5,000 fine.
