Actor Wesley Snipes has reportedly been released from prison.
The Blade star has reportedly been released from prison after serving a three-year sentence after being convicted of tax offences in 2010.
According to CNN, the 50-year-old actor was released on April 2, and transferred to a supervised residential location in New York.
Snipes, who also starred in White Men Can’t Jump, served his time at a federal jail in Pennsylvania after a jury convicted him of wilfully failing to file tax returns in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
In June 2011, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal of his sentence, which he had argued was too harsh for a misdemeanour conviction
Producer Avi Lerner has said that he would like to cast Snipes in The Expendables 3, which is due to start shooting this autumn.
